As for the entire team raising money for research into Prostate Cancer, the last tally was in excess of £32,000; and for the Race Across Britain, RAB Team, they are still counting and these incredible cyclists have raised more than £1M for a number of different charities.

Ride Across Britain
Farm Manager, Mark Harvey is getting on his bike.
"I have decided over the coming year to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK. With the loss of my brother-in-law last year I felt I needed to do something. I also have good friends who are either undergoing treatment or recovering from prostate cancer. Those who know me, will be aware that I am a keen cyclist with my moto being, 'I ride to eat and drink'. So I have set myself the following challenges for 2022".

The Vale Pantry
The Hinton St Mary Estate has donated a whole pig, that is 1500 sausages to the The Vale Pantry, Sturminster Newton's Community Food Pantry in Market Place. Financed by the Vale PCN the scheme provides a choice of good quality food to those who may, for whatever reason right now, need a little bit of help with their weekly shop. The pantry is open on Thursdays 5.00-8.00pm and Saturdays 9.00am - 12 noon. For a weekly membership of £4.50, those signed up will be able to choose a selection of food, worth around £20, each week from the pantry, with produce including fresh fruit and vegetables, store cupboard favourites, bread, dairy products and frozen items. For more details, go to their website, The Vale Pantry.
